Defining next generation product platformBackgound: An established company active in cancer diagnostics experienced sales decline and increased competition for their core product portfolio. Conlega assisted with defining their next generation product platform. Approach: A deep understanding of current and future product needs was gained through in-depth customer interviews, competitor analyses and review of industry and health care trends. In-house personnel from R&D, product marketing and sales were engaged in this process. Results: Findings were turned into a thorough strategy for product development, with emphasis on the specifications demanded by future customers.
